School Admission Arrangements
As our school caters for children with learning difficulties, all our children either have a statement of special educational need or an EHCP.
The LA is responsible for arranging that the special educational provision be made for the child, and considering the school's suitability in finalising the statement and EHCP. Where a school is named in the statement of SEN, the admission authority has a duty to admit the child to the school.
As part of the Statementing process, Parents will be provided with a list of appropriate schools in the area from which to choose. Parents can appeal to the SEN tribunal if they disagree with stated needs or provision of the Statement.
Further information can be obtained from the school or directly from Hampshire County Council LEA. http://www3.hants.gov.uk/education/admissions.htm
